Through a series of performance improvement programs, we consistently review our processes to always meet the expectations of our staff and our clients. We survey our contract staff and clients regularly to ensure their satisfaction with our services and to uncover new ideas for self-improvement.
Furthmore, to ensure that our standards of quality and expectations of excellence are met, we thoroughly screen all of our employees to ensure that they meet the following minimum requirements:
• Minimum of one year of acute-care specialty experience
• Testing through an independent company specializing in testing and skill assessment
• Professional license/certification verification
• Reference check (a minimum of two employment references are required)
• Completed application for employment
• Clinical skills evaluation (self-assessment)
• Current BLS and ACLS (PALS, NRP as applicable)
• Criminal background check
• Drug screening
• Health examination/medical release
• Tuberculosis screening
• Proof of immunization
• Proof of OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training
• Employee interview (internal and with the facility)
• Specific education and training certificates
• All I-9 supporting documentation
• Any facility-specific requests
Ongoing Credential Verification: Each TravelMax employee file is audited and updated on a monthly basis to ensure that required documentation is current. Each month our Compliance Department notifies all employees in writing of any certifications or licensures due to expire in the coming months, and continuously tracks and updates until received. All credentials are tracked via specialized computer software to ensure all candidates are compliant with the latest facility and industry standards.
